Dr. Lisa Strug is a Senior Scientist in the Genetics and Genome Biology program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), the Associate Director of The Centre for Applied Genomics, and Associate Professor of Statistical Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and Science, and of Biostatistics at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Strug's research program focuses on the development of novel statistical approaches to identify genetic contributors to human disease, with particular emphasis on tools tailored to the identification of modifier genes.
The Senior Advisory Committee (SAC) is comprised of individuals with leadership and expertise in data-intensive disciplines in the University of Toronto community. The members of the SAC provide high-level strategic guidance to CANSSI Ontario’s management, helping CANSSI Ontario to promote and deliver collaborative programs across departments, faculties, affiliated research institutes, hospitals, and Ontario universities.
