The Leadership Sinai Centre for Diabetes invites applications for the position of Biostatistician. This position is full-time for 1 year, with a possibility of continuation thereafter. Candidates ideally have a MMath, MSc or PhD degree in Biostatistics or Statistics with demonstrated practical experience in a health research setting. The biostatistician will work in a dynamic and stimulating environment on a variety of clinical research projects with an established research team led by Dr. Ravi Retnakaran. Ongoing projects include large prospective observational cohort studies and clinical trials relating to diabetes. The biostatistician will participate in study design, data analysis and preparation of results for publication and conference presentations. Solid R/SAS programming, oral and written communication, and time management skills are essential. Salary commensurate with relevant experience.
