Statistical Sciences Applied Research and Education Seminar

and CANSSI Ontario

The Statistical Sciences Applied Research and Education Seminar (ARES) showcases opportunities in all realms of society for statistical sciences.

Speakers are individuals working in statistical sciences who span multiple disciplines, such as political science, health, ethics, humanities, global affairs, data science education, genomics, economics and many more.

To ensure state-of-the-art, cutting edge statistical sciences (SS) content across many disciplines, the series employs two expert nominating committees with representatives from:

  1. CANSSI Ontario Partner Universities, and the
  2. Department of Statistical Sciences (DoSS) at the University of Toronto (U of T)

Seminars are held on Mondays, 3:30-4:30 pm ET, from September to April.
