CANSSI Ontario STAGE Welcomes PhD Trainee Yaqi Shi

2024 Waterloo Student Conference
SPARK members collaborated with the organizing committee of the Waterloo Student Conference in Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Finance (WSC) to host a networking event during the conference reception.
While WSC primarily attracts Waterloo students, it is open to students from other institutions. This collaboration helped expand the conference’s reach beyond the University of Waterloo, as SPARK members actively promoted it at their respective universities.
This partnership has the potential to continue, as both WSC and SPARK share a common goal of fostering a more inclusive and well-connected community for statistics students across Ontario.
